downloading pics to PC
General June 4th, 2009HB Writes…..
I’ve got a Nokia N95 and I want to download my pics to my PC and to a CD. Help!! I’ve got no idea how to get it going.
Admin says: I guess you’d need to plug a USB cable into your PC and then into your N95 and transfer the files off directly. From memory the PC should see the N95 as a USB hard drive/storage device of some type.
You could also try bluetooth for xfer if you have it. Or email yourself the pictures.

Alternatively, you could stick the memory card of your N95 into your pc. If you have the same N95 as I have, you will need a small adapter for this (it was delivered with my N95, has the shape of a memory card like the type you’d find in a normal digital camers).

Well said by the admin and Dennis. I know no other way to do this. But the memory reader (adapter) method is the fastest of all.

Yeah but what do you do if the images are on the internal memory and not on the the memory card?

Connect your mobile in “PC Suite” mode and launch PC Suite app in your PC (for mobile recognition). Then go to “My Computer” and browse your mobile from there. There, you can choose to browse both the internal memory or the external.

Hello, I’ve been coming on Myn95 since it started and when i got my N95,
I just got my N97 and wondering If anyone going to start up a Myn97 Website?

haven’t really thought too seriously about it.
The N95 was fairly revolutionary and ground breaking when it was released. The N97 just seems buggy
If you think there is enough demand I could probably look into it, but I don’t really own an N97, so its a bit harder to pickup the hints and tips on how to use it without having one.

My brother bought an N97 and I checked almost every thing in it. It is so identical to the N95 and I think there is no need for a second website.
Same tricks, same operating system, same Apps, almost the same mobile.

I, too, get this message sometimes.
You can connect it as a media player. It works without problems and with same speed. You can use the memory card while connected unlike the Data Transfer mode.
