Garmin Mobile XT V5
N95 May 27th, 2009I know that lots of people (like me) have no idea about roads. That’s why I brought this app to you. It’ll help you while traveling and it’ll save the embarrassment of asking people about how to go to from a place to an other.
This app is easy to use, with a highly detailed maps and supported with sound directing.
Here is the link: http://rapidshare.com/files/237527047/Garmin_Mobile_XT_v5.rar
Note: I didn’t include the maps with this pack so please google for them. They are so big in size which will make it hard to download. Especially if you wont be using most of these maps.
(Admin’s note: If you find the links post them in a comment and I’ll add them to the main article)

I didn’t try it, but does it support fully detailed maps AND voice directions?

Note to admin: I tried to post the links two times but they didn’t appear. Should I put them in a new post?

I thought that line about saving embarrassment by not asking ppl for directions was funny, what’s this world coming to when it’s embarrassing to ask for directions?!

Thanks for the app by the way, shame my internal gps has gone haywire for the last few weeks.

Well, I’m happy you like it. Because this app really helps me with directions.

How am I suppose to set preferences when the software doesn’t allow me to get in? Purchase & Go doesn’t work, Begin Free Trial doesn’t and I have no key for Enter Product Key.

What exactly did you do? Try to explain as best you could so I can find out what happened with you.

Well I didn’t understand the tute, I did the 1st step, I chucked in the mem card in the reader, 2 seems to just jump a few steps not mentioning why there is two files (1st) GarminMobileXT V5.00 & (2nd) GarminMobileXTforSymbianS603rdEdition_50040 so I assumed I click on the first, install to mem card then I click on 2nd and install on mem card even though they seem to do the same thing. Both exe seems to just install the app and sis on the mem card. I did step 3, did step 4 but couldn’t get passed the setup stage within Garmin, I get to this splash screen where I either choose to try the trial or enter a serial. Neither can access the server.

Err, i clicked the fourth option “connect to garmin gps” and it went into the app.

The 1st and 2nd thing is a actually install 1st and install 2nd. The 2nd file is supposed to be an update to fix some problems. So I thought that doing it this way would avoid any kind of error in the process.

Hi, I have downloaded everything but when I use the serial generator, it gives me a very long code. The Garmin application itself says this code should be 8 characters; what should I input?

When you put your “CardID” and generate this long seial number, just copy it to a notepad and name it as I wrote in the tutorial. It will work without any problems.

Installed the app, everything went pretty smooth until I got to Step 9, when I re-started the app and went to tools\settings\system\remote GPS the only choice I had was “Pair New GPS” and I tried enabling it and the app won’t let me. I didn’t have the choice of “use attached/built-in GPS” Help?!?

Btw, I have N95-1 version, firmware is most recent one V30. I don’t know if this matters. Thanks.

did you generate the device ID and did what I said in the tutorials? If the answer was yes, please describe in more details what you did.
By the way, sorry for taking so long to reply. I was so busy lately.

JFlave, are you absolutely sure you generated the device ID correctly and renamed the key file properly?
If yes, try this keygen although it didn’t work for my phone (worked with my car):
