I had paid a subscription on the old version of the maps (30+ quid I think for 3 years) and when I upgraded to maps 2.0 I had full functionality! I think the original deal is quite a lot more reasonable than the new subscription cost (from what I have read)
The new map application is head and shoulders better than the old one.

I updated to version 2.0 and my subscription worked without any problem. The program is way better than the previous version and I think it is easyer too. The function “Drive To” is fantastic, and the graphics are great. Now you can use sattelite images too. Graet job from Nokia.

Installed new version of Maps last nite and found it to be a lot slimmer. Traffic function didn’t work in any area I tried it in and didn’t seem to have function to find the route to a place once you have searched for it, nor remember the last searched place like the old one used to do. So meaning if you search for a place and show on map, you can’t then route back to where you are or create a route to it. Mayb just me..

Downloaded and installed alongside the latest firmware v21. No problems, scrolling across the map is notably faster, and it looks a whole lot neater. My existing 3 year licence carried over with no problem, still got 978 days left!

I got my N95 yesterday & loving it, can I download it & install it with paying the subscription?
Thanks

I have upgraded to the new version 2.0, but when I zoom in to street level I can´t see anything. The firmware on my N95 is the latest v21.
I tried to load the map again to make sure that I have the latest, even though it worked fine with the previous version.
It´s worth mentioning that I only use the map over Sweden.
Maybe it´s just my phone.
Anyone else experiencing the same problem?

Iam upgrfading from a Nokia 6110 Nav to N95 8GB and am concerned about the number of problems with Maps2. I want voice direction and begining to think loading Route66 on the N95 (as on the 6110)would be a cheaper and better option. Is anyobe running route66 on the N95?

ive put amazegps on my n958gb which is a free download free to use, the downside is slow to get up and running and needs an internet connection (wap) but does all the voice navigation all for free, worth a try if you dont like it, delete it, give it a week, and switch the program on a good 4 mins before you want to use it.
