I like the concept, but unfortunately can’t install it on my phone to see if what it’s like.
I get a “certificate error – please contact so-and-so” whenever I try installing it. Maybe it’s my terminal at work. I’ll try it again when I get home.
March 5th, 2008 at 6:41 pm
can someone sign it then place it back on this site so people who cant sign it get to use it
March 6th, 2008 at 1:41 pm
you need your own imei to sign it.
March 8th, 2008 at 10:50 am
course you do forgot that bit lol anyone fancy doing a cop for me
March 8th, 2008 at 10:01 pm
Actually you can flash the firmware so that it doesn’t rejected unsigned .SIS/.SISX file. But I dont really want to try it coz it may ruined my fone. If anyone wants to do it then search “bypass symbian signed” into google and you will c.

help! i keep on getting certificate error..
March 16th, 2008 at 11:24 am
The latested directions 4 signing put me into the view of flicking my wrist to change the view WOW! … I did not think there was anything in the world cooler than my N95 phone … and while I have a deep respect the guy that made Rotatme …and it was my Mom that taught me to read…hey I can follow directions … My fear is does that mean I’m getting old? Does it mean I’m no longer Attention Deficient…have I experienced a mirecal have I healed by a phone application? Is Samir God?

The symbian signed tutorials ALL need a publisher ID now, which I’m unable to get, so I guess I’ll just have to wait for this app….shame really as it sounds so good.
March 30th, 2008 at 5:12 pm
hi robby,
there seems to be a way to get around this, please read this:
http://www.simplysymbian.com/2008/03/04/how-to-symbian-sign-applications-using-open-signed-without-a-publisher-id/
hope this helps!

I get this error when i try to sign the app.
any idea how i can get it to work.
FAILURE: Submitted .sis file uses a UID that is not allocated to the account holder matching this email address (0x200087b5 )
April 3rd, 2008 at 4:14 pm
I get the same error.
It looks like this Signed Online thing ties into a developer account maybe?
The E-mail address that you enter to get the App signed must match the one that the original developer registered with:
(taken from the page where you fill in your IMEI number etc)
Open Signed Online currently does not allow you to sign a SIS that is allocated to someone else and hasn’t been enabled for Open Signing; i.e. if the email address you use for Open Signed Online MUST match the email address of the account which created a UID.
April 3rd, 2008 at 6:37 pm
hi guys!!!HELP!!!i have the same certificate error as other users have…..please let me know everything about solving this annoying problem!
April 4th, 2008 at 9:35 am
Same problem as nikolakis… annoying! any solutions out there?
April 4th, 2008 at 8:39 pm
Also getting
FAILURE: Submitted .sis file uses a UID that is not allocated to the account holder matching this email address.
There seems to be no way for us to sign an sis file and use this app.
April 6th, 2008 at 3:24 am
Hahahaha. Hve installed it. Vry cool apps. Btw have signed it at http://www.symbiansigned.com just look @ signed online. You must have a private email add. Search for opensigned.
April 6th, 2008 at 9:41 am
can someone help me, I don’t have a private email
April 7th, 2008 at 8:14 am
Sorry, I can’t believe that you have installed it. Open Signed just won’t process the file unless you use the developers original e-mail address in the submission form.
April 7th, 2008 at 8:22 am
I’ve e-mailed the original developer.
lets wait and see what he can do.
I’ll keep you posted on any replies.

I have not had a reply from the developer yet i’m afraid guys.
April 10th, 2008 at 2:47 am
Guys, u need Rotateme 2.10 beta 2. Only that version will work with Open Signed.
April 10th, 2008 at 12:06 pm
where can we get that from?
April 10th, 2008 at 12:19 pm
guys, it looks like samir has a forum where you can donate and download the proper unsigned version mentioned above.
http://symbianwebblog.wordpress.com/2008/03/15/rotateme-v21-beta-2-released/
April 11th, 2008 at 12:14 pm
OK GUYS, HERE’S THE ANSWER!!!!
I have tried registering on Samirs forum, but you can’t register unless you have a PayPal account. You need to donate to become a member, which is fair enough, because once you are a member of the forum, you can download any of his unsigned apps.
The Forum wouldn’t let me register. It says you have to use the same e-mail account that you registered your paypal account with; which I tried, but it still wouldn’t let me register.
I gave in and tried to access the help section of the forum, but you can’t even get on that without an account, so I gave up and went googling.
You can download the Unsigned RotateMe v2.1 Beta 2, through this link:
http://gsmhosting.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=513538
Registration is free, Instant (and works!).
Once you have the file, you will need to use the Symbian Signed Online function on here:
https://www.symbiansigned.com/app/page/public/openSignedOnline.do
Enjoy folks.
Neil

Incidentally, don’t change the name of the file when Symbian send it to you. it will give you a certificate error if you do.
Happy rotating guys!
April 14th, 2008 at 11:45 pm
Neils instructions for downloading RotateMe 2.0 beta 2 on the forum he linked is working fine in the signing website.
The ‘unsigned’ version from the authors website DOES NOT WORK. He embedded his UID in there and thus the signing fails.
On his site he states that hes working on it but for now, a beta will do fine
April 15th, 2008 at 5:24 pm

July 26th, 2009 at 9:25 pm
Ahaan… I will follow.
July 27th, 2009 at 6:39 am
For those who don’t know what to do with “certificate error” message, just follow these easy steps and everything will go smoothly(works with any application):
1\ Install Secman v1.1 if you don’t have it yet.
2\ To be sure, sign the unsigned application with BiNPDA rootsigner.
3\ To be very very sure, turn the phone security off with Secman.
4\ Install the application after rootsigning.
5\ Turn the security back on.
All these application are already posted in this site. So no need to search for them.
Have a nice day.

Hi Guys,
I tried to install following Neils instruction, but failed. But I found out that the date format on my phone was not allowing it, after that I changed date format to use ‘.’ as date separator, it installed on my N95.
Thanks Neil.
