Hey thanks for the app. I installed it on my N95 and tried to send the data, but got an error (General: System Error)
I have checked the settings and everything looks ok. I have already tried 3 different GPRS settings (Virgin Internet, Virgin WAP & Virgin MMS) Obviously I am with virgin. got any ideas?

Hmmmm … would check with your provider … you need to select the access point that you would normally browse the net with … also did you allow the tracking app to access network when you installed it ???

Seems the program doesn’t work… in Australia at least. Same problem as nick had. Google maps, Nokia maps, Sports tracker, and GPS data applications all work perfectly. I set up 3D tracking according to the instructions and no go. Would have been great if it worked. Thanks for the tip anyway.

Even though I cancelled my account, my stolen n95 (at gunpoint) is still logging in to the internet through a software i installed called fring. Its logging in to my msn chat. It seems the thiefs dont know about this. I had purchased an unlimited internet plan. Is there a way to catch these bandits using gps and the internet connection?

Hi Nick, I agree with JasonR – It must be a virgin thing. I’m also with virgin and I’ve tried everything to get it working. Uploads data fine via home WLAN, and other friends can make it work with different networks, so gotta be a virgin thing. I don’t fancy our chances of explaining it to them. Two emails and a phone call just to get video calls switched on
maybe I should become a virgin all over again and see if that helps. If you’ve had any luck, let me know….

Hello fellow n95-ers,
I’ve downloaded the application 3dtracking om my n95 (8gb). I get signal with GPS but i can’t sent data to the server. The message i get is “System Fault” (or actually “Systeem fout” in Dutch).
What I also find very strange is that I can’t find any link at all to sing up for a new account… I never ended up on a strange site like this… Very anoying…
Does anyone has a solution or a tip?
Thank you in advance, regards,
flyingdutchman

To get an account, you don’t need to fill in any forms, etc. Simply download the app, install on your phone, record some data and then send it to the 3dtracking system. Your account is created automatically as soon as the data is received by 3dtracking (just read this page – http://free.3dtracking.net/account.aspx).
